Website hosting

Netlify, Inc. hosts this website. Technical connection data, such as your IP address, requested page, time and browser information, is processed to deliver the website and protect it against misuse. The basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure, functioning website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Enquiries and visit requests

When you contact us, we process your name, email address, chosen topic and message. Visit requests also include the date, time and duration. Netlify Forms receives and stores the request and sends a notification to our Gmail inbox. We use these details to reply and arrange visits, on the basis of steps you request before entering a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) or our legitimate interest in answering general questions (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Providing information is voluntary, but we cannot process a form without the required contact fields. Visits are confirmed personally; submitting a request does not reserve an appointment.

Retention and recipients

Enquiries are retained only as long as needed to handle them, fulfil a resulting contract or meet legal retention requirements. Messages and form entries that are no longer needed are deleted. Recipients are the website owner and the hosting, form-processing and email providers. Netlify and Google may process data outside the EEA, including in the USA. Netlify provides a data processing agreement covering international transfers. Google Maps – only when requested

The embedded map loads only when you explicitly click “Load Google map”. Your browser then connects to Google and sends information including your IP address and technical browser data. Google may use cookies or similar technologies. The basis for loading this optional map is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). “Close map” removes the map again; it cannot undo data already transferred. The town name remains available without loading the embedded map.

External links and local content

WhatsApp, Instagram, TikTok and the external Google Maps link open the respective service only when you click their link. The provider's privacy information then applies. Photos, videos, fonts and website files are served by this website. No advertising trackers or analytics tools are built into our website code. The German or English page address determines the language; the published website code does not need browser storage for this choice.

Subject to the GDPR, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction and data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests where the legal conditions apply. Consent can be withdrawn for the future at any time. Contact the email address above.
