A palace for extraordinary companions.

My love for animals began long before I could explain it. At five years old, I was bringing home little birds with injured wings, hoping to help them. Lizards and mice sometimes came home too — much to my mother’s surprise — along with my hopeful question: “Can we keep them?” I loved dogs, I loved all animals, but cats have always held a special place in my heart.

In 2022, after the birth of our first child, we decided as a family to welcome our first cat. Back then, I knew very little about bloodlines, genetics, championships or the world of British Shorthairs. Then Midnight arrived, and we fell completely in love.

What draws me to them is their calm presence, their wonderfully plush, thick coats, their round faces and the quiet affection they bring into a home. Each has a personality of their own, and that is part of the joy: getting to know the individual behind those beautiful eyes. Soon, having just one felt impossible.

While searching for our second cat, my curiosity brought me into contact with breeders who had more than twenty years of experience. Conversations became friendships, and every question led to something new to learn. Little by little, I realised that I wanted to share this wonderful breed with other people — to help other families cherish the same beautiful moments that had become part of our everyday life.

So I took the next step and registered our cattery with the authorities. Luna Lux Feline grew from that love and curiosity. Today, some of the friends I once turned to for advice also come to me for an opinion or a helping hand. I value that trust, and I still love learning from one another.

But the part I treasure most is much simpler: our home is so often full of affectionate, beautiful little souls. They cannot tell us how they feel in words. Instead, they settle beside us, begin to purr, and somehow say everything.
